Comfortable stay and great breakfast

Perfect location, only a short walk from the University. The bar downstairs was great for drinks in the evening. Lovely selection at breakfast.

Penta Hotel is great but...

Nice lobby and very good bar and breakfast. Pool table and football table are a big plus! Bedding is very good and comfy.

Rooms on the road side are very noisy dus to bad sound proofing, and can also be very hot during the summer time. Airconditioning is very dated and noisy.

My stay was pleasant

Great budget hotel with an inviting lobby and kind staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed of my twin room was comfortable. The shops and restaurants were at a waling distance. Overall this hotel is great value for you money.

The air conditioning was difficult to regulate and we couldn't get it to work.

Nice for the price but could use some more attention to details for the rooms.

Very comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom and close to the city center. Also very nice bar and lounge area.

We stayed for 2 nights and no one cleaned our room after the first night which was a bit disappointing. For a 4 star hotel I expected the room to have bath robe, slippers and ear sticks, which was not the case.

Friendly staff, with nice amenities. Nice ambience.

Room was a no smoking room but someone had been smoking in it. The hotel car park entry and exit system can sometimes not work.

Great value and perfectly acceptable under normal circumstances

The outside of the hotel has a 1970's prison block facade but inside the lobby/restaurant area is good. Rooms are sparse but large and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is excellent as is the breakfast. If you are getting this for around 100Euro then it represents very good value. Great location for the old town. Parking is across the road, a 5 min walk to the hotel, is ok.

I was there for the Grand Prix weekend and paid over 500E per night for 4 nights for a hotel normally priced at 100E per night.....I accept this is the cost of that particular weekend, but to be charged that sum and then to be told at reception breakfast and parking would be extra, was hard to accept. That made it only slightly cheaper than the premium hotel a short walk away...i will look more closely at the costs next year before booking.

Good location at a fair price.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Location was perfect to explore Liège.

Breakfast could have been of better quality, choice was good, juices were really poor ( watery ).

Good and central location close to the city center. Modern builing with nice lounge. Quiet room and comfortable bed. Easy check-in/out.

Some features in the room are stylish, but not really practical (e.g., rather limited space for storing clothes, mirror behind the lavatory and lighting in the bathroom are not really suited for shaving). Slightly overcrowded at breakfast and not enough tables to seat everyone at the same time (but you can retreat to the lounge).

Liège is for the moment in a terrible mess. And this makes it already terrible to come to the hotel. The hotel was cleaner before.

Super staff, good drinks and food was pretty good as well.

The staff was excellent. Great place for English-speaking visitors. The room was nice, unfortunately, there was extensive construction throughout the city during our stay which did detract from the view and the ability to reach the hotel.

Liege itself was not what we thought it would be.

The accommodation was great and the staff lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant the night of our arrival and it was amazing, we enjoyed interacting with the staff.

I didn't like the location, only because the city has been ripped up for the new tram lines. It didn't inspire us to go out exploring at all so we stayed at the hotel and then left early the next morning to go to Maastricht for breakfast.
